OBJECTIVES

The cooperation objectives to be shared by the network:

• Creating and implementing a network system of regions and economic operators to encourage the exchange of ideas, experiences, offers

• Involving the wetlands issue at European level, in order to encourage the exchange of other future collaborations and targeted projects

• Advertising and marketingof the wetlands as tourist destinations at international level and realization of joint promotional material among the interested partners

• Diversifying the environmental tourism offer by introducing new ways to enjoy natural resources (birdwatching, fishing tours, cycling tours, etc.)

• Raising local actors awareness with reference to the economic potential of an environmental sound use of wetlands

• Promoting and advertising the environmental resources of the partner regions for a tourist purpose, in order to support and to encourage a stronger respect towards the environment and its specific elements

• Working-out joint strategies and proposals about tourism, environment, rural development and agriculture in order to attract the attention on specific aspects at Community level

• Developing new professional figures connected with the environmental tourism, the transfer of good practices and know-how in a view to the implementation of future cooperation strategies
