ISLE OF WIGHT RURAL ACTION ZONE LAG

The Isle of Wight is lucky enough to have large areas of countryside and many rural communities. Our work helps people to understand the natural beauty of these rural areas and make the most of them by using the countryside sensibly and in a way that is sustainable for the future. We aim to help our rural communities improve their quality of life by using the natural and cultural resources around them. Through delivery of our projects we hope to build our communities for the future so that they receive long-term benefits from the work that we do.

MISSION
The Isle of Wight Rural Action Zone aims to ensure that the Island’s rural communities share in the economic growth the Island is experiencing. Our projects are developed to complement existing strategies to make sure we make the most of the funding which is available to help rural communities.
